Our story
Formed in 1968, Pride of the Raven has stood as part of the marching band scene in Northern Ireland for over half a century.
Built in the heart of East Belfast, the band has been shaped by the people who pass through it, learning the music, wearing the uniform, and carrying the standards expected of them.
That commitment has carried beyond home. From travelling to the Somme, to performing on the stage of the Belfast Tattoo, the band has represented its roots while standing alongside others in shared tradition.
The support of the local community has never been taken for granted. In return, the band has made a point of giving back, holding annual charity events and raising over £100,000 to support local people, families, and causes.
What was started in 1968 is still being carried today, through the same commitment, the same standards, and the same connection to the community it comes from.
Built on unity. Grounded in community.
